Very well rounded rotations which will set me up for a full-time role at the conclusion of my program.

To get a role working with ANZ as a graduate you go through a similar recruitment process to other banks. I chose ANZ due my families business having banked with them for a number of decades. My role at the moment is similar to an Assistant Manager to a Agribusiness Relationship Manager helping with both new and existing customer in all parts of their business banking. Training is mostly on the job, however we have access to a number of coaches to help with the more technical aspects of the role. The graduate program at ANZ is split into 3 x 6 month rotations throughout different business areas. I completed one rotation in a back office environment in Sydney, one in a frontline role in the Central West region of NSW in Dubbo, Mudgee and Orange and my third will be with an agribusiness credit team also in Dubbo. The highlights of the role have included getting out and about to different businesses and industry events. Not too many challenges faced, however if I was to come across any the graduate team are easy to contact and talk with about any problems. So far I have been able to work across a very large region with a number of different managers with experience in a wide range of both agri and commercial industries. Very well rounded rotations which will set me up for a full-time role at the conclusion of my program.
